A lot of people who are very good at Math’s seemed to do well at learning and solving the Rubik’s Cube. People that are good at Math’s have a good memory and concentration level.

A learner of the Cube is greatly helped by both of these potentials. The algorithms required to solve the Rubik’s Cube are basically Mathematical. There are many methods of solving the Rubik’s Cube. Each of these methods consists of very different formulas.

Some solving methods are a lot more complicated than others. These more complex solving methods are for the sole purpose of solving a Cube in less moves. This will obviously result in faster solving times.

These more complex methods are harder because of two main reasons. Firstly they consist of a lot more algorithms that need to be memorised. Secondly some of them are extremely difficult to understand.

The Lars Petrus Method has some stages of solving which are extremely hard to understand. Even some very good speed cubers can’t understand how to solve the Cube when using this method.

Many Scientific studies of the Rubik’s Cube have been carried out. A lot of these studies are of the algorithms to solve all different Rubik’s Cubes.

Some of these Mathematical studies try to calculate the minimum amount of moves, needed to solve the 3 x 3 Rubik’s Cube. Others of these Mathematical studies try to calculate the algorithms needed to solve, much bigger Rubik’s Cubes.

One of these studies concerned the 11 x 11 Rubik’s Cube. Despite all the studies there is no guarantee of the minimum amount of moves required to solve the 3 x 3 Rubik’s Cube.

There are also intended Scientific studies to be carried out to work out the minimum amount of moves of other Cubes than the 3 x 3 Rubik’s Cube. The Scientific Rubik’s Cube studies of the Cubes minimum solving moves are carried out on Google computers. They take an enormous amount of analyses.

I once read about a study like this of a very large Cube. The study was very complicated. I presume that the Cubes with more layers require a lot more algorithms to solve them. This is because there will be a wider range of possible combinations. The 3 x 3 Rubik’s Cube has billions of combinations so you can just imagine the amount of possible combinations within an 11 x 11 Rubik’s Cube. These in depth studies of the Rubik’s Cube will take an incredible amount of analyses and time.
